US Embassy in Nairobi Announces New Job Openings With Salaries Up to Ksh5.6 Million

The United States Embassy in Nairobi has announced several new job openings across its operations, including positions in supply management, protocol, and political affairs, with applications closing later this month.

One of the vacancies is for a Supply Supervisor in the General Services Office. The position offers an annual salary of about Ksh1.94 million and is open only to current embassy employees. 

The successful candidate will oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of expendable and non-expendable supplies, while managing inventory control and warehouse operations. Applications close on 21 May 2026.

The embassy is also recruiting a Protocol Assistant for the Executive Office. The role is open to all qualified applicants and carries an annual salary ranging from Ksh2.68 million to Ksh4.56 million, depending on qualifications and experience. 

The officer will advise on diplomatic protocol, precedence, and ceremonial procedures, and will assist in coordinating official engagements. The application deadline is 22 May 2026.

Another vacancy is for a Senior Political Specialist in the Political Office. The role offers an annual salary of about Ksh5.67 million, making it one of the highest-paying positions in the current recruitment exercise. 

The successful applicant will provide political analysis, prepare reports for senior officials, and coordinate high-level diplomatic engagements. Applications for the position close on 22 May 2026.
