Australian-Based Kenyan Woman Returns Home to Gift Mother New Car

Carol Kogei, a Kenyan woman based in Australia, returned home to present her mother with a new Toyota RAV4 in a ceremony attended by family, church members, and local residents.

The event took place at the family’s village home and was organised as a formal celebration. Proceedings began with prayers led by a nun, and a priest later interacted with guests, creating a respectful and festive setting. The vehicle, decorated with ribbons and balloons, was driven into the compound before being officially handed over.

Kogei shared a message on social media alongside the presentation, describing the gift as a gesture of appreciation for her mother’s lifelong support. She wrote: “A small thank you to the woman who gave me everything. Today I celebrate you, Mama. This is just a token of my love and gratitude. From your sacrifices to this moment… You deserve it all.”
