Armed Robbers Steal Supreme Court Judge Njoki Ndungu’s Official Car
An official vehicle belonging to Supreme Court judge Njoki Ndung’u has been stolen in Nairobi.
The Toyota Landcruiser Prado registration number KCN 117M was stolen after armed robbers attacked Justice Njoki’s driver on Friday night.
Reports indicate that Justice Njoki was not on board the vehicle during the incident that happened at Githurai Mwihoko area.
The driver, Stephen Thuku told police that he was driving at around 7:30 pm when he was blocked by another car.
Three men armed with pistols then jumped into the four-wheel-drive vehicle and bundled him onto the back seat before driving around the city and later abandoned him at Kibiku area in Ngong’.
Thuku was not harmed during the incident but he lost Sh110,000. The car is yet to be recovered.
Police are calling on anyone with information that may lead to the recovery of the vehicle or arrest of the suspects to report to the nearest station.
