21 Kenyan youth have been sent into forced quarantine after they were allegedly busted shooting raunchy videos in Nakuru on Wednesday.

Police said the 21, among them eight males and 13 females, are students drawn from different high schools and universities and are members of a WhatsApp group disguised as a talent bank.

They were arrested after they were allegedly found shooting pornographic content at a golf club within Milimani Estate in Nakuru against the government’s social distancing directives.

Police have opened investigations into claims that a German national was behind the shooting of the pornographic content meant for the foreign market.

“We will prosecute them if they are found culpable because this is against the Kenyan culture,” Nakuru East Deputy County Commissioner Elmi Shaffi said.

A DSLR camera containing racy raw footage and raunchy photos allegedly captured by the German national was recovered during the operation.

The 21 youths, aged between 18 and 25 years, were taken to Nakuru Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) quarantine center for 14 days.
