'Rubbish': Neno Evangelism Pastor James Ng’ang'a Rants at the Media in New Video
Controversial Kenyan televangelist James Maina Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism Center has been angered by media reports about his arrest.
Ng'ang'a was reportedly arrested on Thursday evening and spent the night at Central Police Station before being released on a police bond on Friday morning.
The city preacher was apprehended for allegedly defrauding a businessman of Sh3.6 million.
In a video released on Friday, a seemingly furious pastor Ng'ang'a has slammed the media, accusing them of unfairly targeting him.
Ng'ang'a has also refuted claims that he was arrested on Thursday evening on fraud allegations.
“Ni utamu gani mnasikia mkitaja jina la Ng’ang’a(What do you gain by mentioning my name),” Ng'ang'a poses.
“Wewe unadanganya wakenya niko jela…sasa unadanganya wakenya eti Ng’ang’a ameiba milioni tano, wewe chunga akili yako kama hautachunga I promise you the same again…(You are lying to Kenyans that Ng’ang’a has been arrested for conning someone Sh5 million, I am warning you again!” Ng’ang'a says.
He also urges the government to investigate why the media is obsessed with him.
“Ningetaka serekali pia iangalie why Ng’ang’a. kila mtu akitaka kujifundisha kizungu ni Ng’ang’a, my news kicker tonight is Ng’ang’a everybody wants to kicker tonight, kicker yourself rubbish.”
