Fight on Corruption, Handshake a Ploy to Extend President Uhuru's Term-MP Oscar Sudi
Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi claims that the handshake with Raila Odinga and the fight against corruption are a plot by President to extend his term.
Speaking on Sunday, Sudi accuses Kenyatta and Odinga of crafting a scheme to block Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.
“I want to tell Raila we accepted the handshake but now we know what it meant. Uhuru should tell us what he is scheming with Raila. If he doesn’t want to go home in 2022 let him tell us,” Sudi claims.
Sudi further claims that the alleged Sh21 billion dam's scandal is a cover-up for the proposed 'dubious' takeover of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by Kenya Airways.
“When Ruto supported Raila he was not a thief, when he backed Uhuru he was not a thief, but now that his turn for the top seat has come you say he is a thief,” Sudi says.
“When the issue of JKIA came up, they decided to use the Elgeyo Marakwet dams to cover up the plan to take over the airport. We know a lot about them,” he adds.
He also accuses the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti of being used to bring down Ruto in the name of fighting corruption.
