Two Kenyans Arrested for Stealing Thousands of Dollars from Passenger at JKIA

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Friday arrested two Kenyans who reportedly stole thousands of dollars from a passenger at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

In a tweet, the DCI says the two are employees of Tropical Promoters, a company that offers trolley services at JKIA.

The two, identified as Kennedy Ochieng, 22, and 25-year-old Kevin Ogega were arrested after the officers conducted a search.

The DCI says all the lost cash was recovered but did not reveal the exact amount the passenger was carrying.

"Mr.Kennedy Ochieng, 22yrs and Mr.Kevin Ogega, 25yrs; both employees of Tropical Promoters- a company that offers Trolley services at JKIA, were today arrested by Detectives for stealing thousands of Dollars belonging to a passenger. All the Cash recovered after Search," the DCI says in a tweet.
