Ruto: I Don't Own a Chopper, I Borrow It from Moses Kuria

Deputy President William Ruto says the helicopter he uses to traverse the country belongs to Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.

The revelation came after Moses Kuria confirmed that he owns the state-of-art chopper that Ruto uses most of the time.

"I want to make some clarification after my remarks. I heard the principal say the DP's chopper landed in the school field. It should be clear that the helicopter is not Ruto's but mine. We have to speak the truth as Christians sometimes," Kuria who accompanied Ruto in a function said amid laughter from the crowd.

On his part, Ruto said Kuria's confession puts to rest rumors of him buying or owning helicopters.

 "My brother Moses Kuria is truthful in saying the chopper I use belongs to him and I have just borrowed. People have been bugging me over the helicopter and now they have the answer because the owner has been known. I am his friend who only borrows from him," said Ruto. 

"It is time to stop much banter now that you know the truth. I thank Moses Kuria for being a gentleman and speaking the truth. Whatever he has said let it be that way. We need to ashame the devil by speaking the truth," Ruto added.

There were reports on a section of local media claiming the the Deputy President has purchased an eight-passenger Airbus H145 at Sh1 billion ahead of the 2022 presidential campaigns.
