Fiery ODM MP Millie Odhiambo Vows to Defend President Kenyatta against 'Enemies'

Suba South Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo has vowed to defend President Uhuru Kenyatta against anyone trying to sabotage his fight war on graft.

Speaking on Saturday, the firebrand ODM MP said she is fully behind the President's onslaught on corruption and vowed to deal with those who attempt to "joke" with the Head of State.
 
“We are fully and totally behind the President in fighting corruption. I can tell you in the past I have been known to be unfriendly to the presidency. Right now if anybody jokes with the President they will find me head on. I will deal with them “mundu khumundu (one on one”, said Odhiambo.

Millie, a past fierce critic of Kenyatta, said the handshake between opposition leader Raila Odinga and the President has yielded fruits and her constituents can attest to it.

“We hope the handshake will bring many other benefits. Yesterday we were in Remba with fishermen and the entire county security team courtesy of the handshake. I’m defender number one,” she indicated.

The MP was speaking in Kamureri and Wakulla villages in her constituency, where she distributed title deeds issued by the Jubilee administration.
