President Uhuru Set to Make First Foreign Trip Since His Re-Election
President Kenyatta is scheduled to make his first foreign trip his his reelection for second term on October 26th.
The Head of State is expected to travel to South Africa on Thursday, where he will hold bilateral talks with counterpart Jacob Zuma.
A statement released by the Presidency Republic of South Africa on Tuesday stated the two Presidents will meet at Dr. John Dube residence in Durban.
Among topics to be discussed during the meeting are issues of cooperation in trade between Kenya and South Africa.
This will be the first time the President will leave the country since being given a fresh five-year mandate after his swearing in last November.
