My Swearing-in is Unstoppable, Raila Declares

National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has declared that he will be sworn in as President, noting that his swearing-in is unstoppable.

Speaking on Sunday when he launched coast region people's assembly at Kikambala in Kilifi county, the opposition chief vowed that no one will stop him from taking Oath of Office.

“I am going to carry the Bible [being sworn-in]. Nobody will stop me from carrying the Bible,” Raila declared.

“It is better to stand up for the truth and die for something than die for nothing," Raila added.

Odinga said that the opposition will not relent in its push for electoral justice, until the rightful winner of the election is declared.
"We will progress until we get electoral justice. We will ensure that ultimately, the winner is declared the winner."

On why his inauguration that had been slated for December 12th in Mombasa was postponed, Raila said: “Kenya is bigger than any of us. Kenya is at a tipping point. It just needs a spark for it to erupt."

The meeting brought together NASA leaders, including governors, senators, MPs, and MCAs from Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, Taita Taveta and Lamu counties.
