National Super Alliance (NASA) has announced it will now be holding daily anti-Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission protests across the country.

Speaking during the demos in Nairobi on Wednesday, Siaya Senator James Orengo announced that the opposition outfit will be staging the demos on a daily basis all over Kenya in their push for electoral reforms.

“From Monday they need to know the protests will be daily all over the country. We are not here to joke. If there are no reforms, there will be no elections,” he said.

The senator said that their candidate Raila Odinga, bowed out of the October 26th repeat election after it became apparent that the electoral commission was not committed to looking into their demands.

"There is no way the coalition can participate in an election with the same people accused of being the masterminds of the bungled election."

Orengo and other Nasa leaders led supporters in Wednesday's demos in the streets of Nairobi calling for the vacation of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba from office chanting "No reforms, no elections".

Despite the protests being largely peaceful, there were incidents of looting of along Haille sellasie Avenue.

The group marched through Uhuru Highway, Haille selassie, Tom Mboya, Moi Avenue, City Hall Way, Harambee Avenue, Kenyatta Avenue, Muindi Bingu Street, Taifa Road, Wabera Street and University Way.

“Until and after our demands are met we will not negotiate. We will only participate in an election where we know the outcome will be free and fair,” said Orengo.
