Raila Claims Tetanus Vaccine Administered to Kenyan Women Contains Sterility Hormone

National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga claims that the tetanus vaccine administered by the Health Ministry to Kenyan women contain a sterility hormone.

In a statement, the former Prime Minister said that the Catholic Church was right that the vaccine contained infertility elements that could cause infertility in women between 14 and 49 years old.

Addressing the press from Capitol Hill, the Orange Democratic movement Party leader said that laboratory tests from various hospitals indicated that vaccine confirmed traces of a hormone that would make the recipients infertile.

“The Catholic Church was right. Hundreds of our girls aged between 14 and 49 years old will not have children because of the state sponsored sterilization project that was sold to the state as tetanus vaccination,” said Raila.

Raila cited an analysis by Agri Q Quest, Nairobi Hospital, University of Nairobi and Lancet Kenya, saying “the results indicate that the vaccine had a high content of Better human chorionic gonadotropin hormone (hCG) that causes sterility in women.”

The opposition chief said the vaccination was a human rights abuse and asked the government to make public a full list those who were involved in the process.

In 2014, the Catholic Church opposed administration of the vaccine, citing its adverse effects on women reproductive health.
