President Uhuru Trounces Raila in Diaspora Votes
President Uhuru Kenyatta has garnered more votes than his rivals from the diaspora community that took part in Tuesday's general election.
Provisional results indicate that President Kenyatta marshaled 1,504 voted against Raila Odinga's 1,321 votes. Alliance for Real Change presidential flag bearer Abduba Dida got 5 votes, Thirdway alliance's Ekuru Aukot got eight votes, Michael Mwaura (4) while Joseph Nyaga got two votes.
In Uganda, President Kenyatta got 408 votes against Raila Odinga's 322 while Dida got three votes. In Tanzania, Odinga led with 394 while President Kenyatta (393), Aukot (2), Dida had 2, professor Michael Mwaura had one vote.
In Burundi, President Kenyatta managed 47 votes, while Odinga has 48 votes. In Rwanda, President Uhuru garnered 298 votes to Raila's 255 votes while in South Africa he garnered 358 votes to Raila Odinga's 302 votes.
